Florence Edith Dowd

Tenth child, and fourth eldest surving daughter

Florence, or Flossy as she was known, was born 8th July 1907 in West Auckland

She married at the age of 24 to LANCHESTER SMITHSON (b.1898 d.1958)

They had four children:

  • Ellen May              b.1932
  • Sidney                   b.1934  d.2005
  • Neil                        b.1938
  • David                     b.1952
